Doy-style bag

Standing bags are very popular because of their excellent presentation.

A standing bag has a much better facing then a pillow bag and it is cheaper than a duplex cardboard box.

Even soup in a standing bag not new anymore. The 'soup bag' has sealed corners in the bottom which gives the bag extra stability. This type of packaging is called a doypack and is produced on a horizontal packaging machine.

The producers of vertical form, fill and closing machines came up with an alternative without the corner seals. This bag is called a doy-style bag.
