August 2011: Expansion chilled storage

With our expansion in 2009 NOMI has invested in storage capacity for frozen en chilled products. We had a feeling that there was a need for flexible packaging services among producers of frozen and cooled products. Two years after taking the freezing cel in to use we can say that our feeling was confirmed by a growing number of clients. 

But this growth soon created a capacity problem. A cooling and freezing cel is flexible in its use but unfortunately cannot be used for freezing and chilling at the same time. Multiple orders at the same time also create some problems with incoming and outgoing goods.

That is why we are happy to let you know we have invested in an additional chilled storage cel. This cel has the capacity to cool down to +2 degrees Celsius. 

“That is not possible….” is not an option for within NOMI. If you have clients with special packaging needs think of NOMI.
