    New multipond weigher: more packing capacity

To deliver on promises, we commissioned a brand new Multipond weigher last September: the Rolls- Royce weigher amongst multihead weighing systems. Reliable and ultra accurate. We create greater flexibility and a wider weighing range with this extra weighing capacity. We can also execute multiple transwrap projects and further shorten the lead time of packing orders.

    Belgian quinoa in block bottom bags

    In 2015, Hans Gheldof and his wife, Leen Vanoverbeke, sowed quinoa for the very first time on their farm in the Flemish region around the village of Gijverinkhove. Initially, they sold the quinoa to restaurants through their farm shop. Just five years later, their quinoa can be found exclusively on the shelves of Colruyt supermarkets: packed in beautiful block bottom bags and in shelf-ready cardboard boxes. During the packaging process, NOMI supported Gelvanco every step of the way, gave them packaging advice and performed material tests.
