A flowpack is a packaging method in which a flexible foil is formed and sealed around a product. The foil is folded tightly around the product from a roll and then sealed.
Flowpacks use a horizontal form, fill and seal machine (HFFS). The foil is wrapped around the products by means of a forming box. Nomi Co-Packing has multiple machines at its disposal, with which a wide range of product formats can be processed. Both hotseal and coldseal are possible.
Flowpacks are usually produced with BOPP or PE. As monolaminates, these foils are easily recyclable.
