Dosing and filling is an essential part of the packaging process. It is all about precision. To this end, Nomi Co-Packing uses state-of-the-art weighing and counting machines to make dosing as precise as possible and minimise overdosing.
In a multihead weigher, multiple weigh hoppers are filled by vibration. The product is then discharged in the required filling weight from a combination of weigh hoppers. Here, the machine is adjusted to e-weight, so that the quantity of product in the packaging remains within the applicable bandwidth.
Counting machines are used to compile the required number of products. By using several counting machines, a mix of products can be put together.
The required volume can be filled using cup dosing or auger filling . These techniques are applicable for dosing a homogeneous granular or fine-grained product.
Depending on the required dosing technique, we can mix different products in a specific mixing ratio to create a complex mix. For assembling assorted packaging, Nomi Co-Packing has a counting line with which up to 8 different products can be automatically counted by piece.
