A doystyle bag is a doypack "lookalike" produced on a vertical forming, filling and sealing machine.
A doystyle bag can be produced with thinner foils, which are fully recyclable. The production cost of the doystyle bag is lower than that of the doypack.
The doystyle bag is produced on a vertical packaging machine (transwrapping), just like the pillowbag, blockbottom bag or quadroseal bag. Specific tooling is required to produce this packaging. Only the width of the bag is flexibly adjustable. Filling is done by multihead weighing or counting machines.
The doystyle bags can be filled with both unpackaged product as primary packaging, as well as packaged products, as secondary packaging for a multipack or product mix. For unpacked product, extra attention should be paid to the barrier properties of the selected foil.
An indication of the minimum order quantity (MOQ) is 15.000 consumer units (CE).
